Tratamientos

De arañas vasculares y variculas

  • FLEBOESCLEROSIS: de caracter estético.
    Consiste en aplicar microinyecciones de medicación dentro del lecho vascular de la teleangiectasia (araña vascular) o varicula que se quiera esclerosar.
    El medicamento se puede infiltrar tanto en forma líquida como en espuma.Es ambulatorio y prácticamente indoloro.

Ablación de vena safena por «VenaSeal»

  • Usando sólo anestesia local en un único punto de la pierna ,se punciona la piel con una aguja y se introduce en la vena un catéter que se posiciona bajo control ecográfico.
  • Con un inyector se gradúa la cantidad de adhesivo que entra en la vena que con una leve presión queda cerrada. Con el tiempo la vena así sellada se transforma en un tejido fibroso que el organismo reabsorbe. El catéter es retirado y se coloca una pequeña tirita en el sitio de la punción.
  • No es necesario dar puntos de sutura, ni hace falta vendar al paciente o usar medias elásticas. El paciente se puede reintegrar de inmediato a su actividad diaria.
  • VenaSeal es superior a otros tratamientos utilizados actualmente como el láser endovenoso ya que este último libera calor por lo que es necesario infiltrar anestesia en múltiples puntos de la pierna para paliar el dolor y evitar el riesgo de quemaduras en la piel.
  • Venaseal es el procedimiento ideal para todos aquellos pacientes que requieren una cirugía de safena y a quienes, sin embargo, les detiene el temor a un procedimiento agresivo. No produce inflamaciones ni pigmentaciones y el tiempo de recuperación es mucho menor.

De varices sintomaticas

  • FLEBECTOMIA: Consiste en la extirpación microquirúrgica de venas varicosas realizada en quirófano y bajo anestesia local. Se realiza de forma ambulatoria.
  • ABLACION DE SAFENA INTERNA/ EXTERNA: Consiste en la aplicación endovascular de energía térmica (radiofrecuencia) o de un pegamento (cianoacrillato) para conseguir que la vena referida queda fibrótica y disfuncionante sin necesidad de extirparla.
    Se realiza en quirófano bajo anestesia local y de forma ambulatoria.
